THE RELATIONSHIP OF ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE AUTOMATION SYSTEM AND THE DECISION MAKING QUALITY OF TOWN

Abstract
This study aims at explaining the relationship of establishing Office Automation System and the decision-making quality of Towns of Tehran’s Education Organization Managers in the year of 2011. The sample population consisted of 110 managers (executive. Intermediate and high), and the effect size using Korjesi & Morgan table and random- layer sampling was determined and 87 people were selected. Data collection was carried out through researcher made questionnaires. The reliability of the questionnaires was calculated as 0.94 using Alpha Chronbach method after piloting. Beside the content validity was taken as the validity of the questionnaire. To do so, related specialists revised the questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out through SPSS software program in two aspects of descriptive (frequency, frequency percentage, mean, Standard deviation) and inferential (Chi square test and Freedman test). The results showed that there is a meaningful relationship between establishing an Office Automation system and the quality of decision-making components (accuracy, opportuneness, security, precision, easiness, economy, readiness, and pursuing). Results also showed that there is a meaningful difference between the relationships of components of the quality of decision making and establishing an Office Automation system whereas establishing an Office Automation system was most associated with the easiness of decision making
